This program examines collaboration at all levels, from the individual contributor to the C-suite. Through the story of Rudder’s Rangers, an elite outfit of 200 men who were given an impossible task, we examine the critical elements that must be present for teammates to trust one another and accomplish the unimaginable. The cooperation between the Army and the Navy in conducting the largest joint amphibious operation in world history offers insights into cooperation across divisions, while Dwight Eisenhower’s ability to work with various international partners provides a window into the key elements of emotional intelligence needed to collaborate effectively.
We begin in the classroom before going mobile to tour the various beaches and sites associated with these momentous events, a somber and overwhelming experience that is impossible to forget.
